In 1978, Ralph Laruen released his first fragrances, Lauren Perfume and Polo, quickly followed by Chaps for Men and Safari Perfume. Romance Perfume was released in 1998 and the Ralph line of fragrances was developed for a younger clientele. Ralph, appeared in 2000 and next there was Ralph Cool Perfume in 2004, Ralph Hot and Ralph Rocks Perfume in 2006 with Ralph Wild in 2008.Other more sophisticated fragrances were introduced with Pure Turquoise Perfume and Polo Black Cologne for Men in 2005, Polo Double Black Cologne for Men in 2006, followed by Polo Explorer Cologne for Men in 2007 and Polo Blue for Men. For women, there is Romance Eau Fraiche , Notorious, Love, Ralph Lauren, and Romance Always Yours and Romance Silver Perfumes and Cologne for Men.
